Cave crawlers are Slayer monsters that require level 10 slayer to kill. They are, however, poisonous, making them slightly more dangerous than their combat level suggests. They appear in all floors, but are extremely rare on the Frozen floors, and drop the special Sunstriker boots and Marksman boots.

As of 19 April 2012, Slayer monster frequency in Dungeons has been increased by nearly double, making an encounter with Cave crawlers much more likely.
