Merger into Obsolete

I created this category without realising that Category:Obsolete existed. My intention for this category was that it would be occupied by images that are obsolete but which should not be updated, because they illustrate aspects of the game that used to exist but don't now, or which have since changed. If the Obsolete category includes this and articles that have the same criteria, then these can be merged.

However, if the Obsolete category is actually for articles or images that need to be updated (i.e. overwritten with newer versions) then this may not be appropriate. Merging is easy - it's just a matter of changing the category for the few images that already exist here. I have not gone ahead myself because of this issue. I don't want to mix "should be updated" images with "should be left alone" images. I agree I think this category could be done away with pretty easily. I looks like these images are for historical purposes and don't need to be updated. I think the SD template cover that. Tollerach hates SoF 05:09, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Scratch that, I looks like this is a tag. the obfile tag can put images in this category while the obsolete tag can put files in that category, this works for me. Tollerach hates SoF 05:28, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
