A Castlewar brace (also known as Castlewar bracelet) is a bracelet that aids in Castle Wars. When players wield this item at the moment they enter the game, they do an extra 20% damage against a bearer of their side's flag, and bandages heal 50% more. Players only need to be wearing it up until the time the game starts. After that, the charge is already given, and the player can switch to any item to be worn in the Hand Slot.
Players can create this item by casting Enchant Level 2 Jewellery on an emerald bracelet. The brace can be used for three games; after which, it is destroyed.
This brace is also used in combination with the Armadyl godsword to find the maximum hit with its special attack, currently standing at 93 damage on a flag bearer. It is said that 80 damage has been hit in the Duel Arena with an Armadyl godsword special attack using Vesta's Equipment for a higher Strength bonus. This means the highest hit possible on a flag bearer should be 96 damage in theory.
