Castle wars tickets are tickets that are awarded for winning or drawing in the Castle Wars minigame. You earn 2 tickets if you win the game, 1 if you happen to tie.
Even though the tickets aren't tradeable, unknowing players will try to buy them at 1000 to 3000 coins each to negate having to play several hundred games to get the best armour. You can spend it on rare but weak armour. Coincidentally, the "best armour" of the game is only equivalent to Adamantite level armour.
