The Carnival headdress is a wearable holiday item received from Diango. It was released on 15 February 2012, and was also released for the 2012 New Years Parties across multiple servers. The headdress was also dropped by Jagex Moderators during RuneScape's 12th anniversary at Draynor Village on 12 and 13 January 2013.
By right-clicking the headdress and selecting 'change-feathers', players can alter the colour of their headdress' feathers from blue to pink and back again. It can be stored in a Toy box in a player-owned house.
The headdress has no stats, and is purely aesthetic.

- The update was accidentally announced in game on 14 February 2012, with a chatbox message from Diango claiming that the headdresses were already available when they weren't. The day later, the actual headdress could be claimed from Diango.
