Cap'n Arnav (also known as Captain Arnav) is a pirate captain involved in the Pirate's Combination Lock random event.
Previously, He had buried a treasure in the player's farming patch and asks the player to open his chest for him. If the player gets the combination wrong twice, he teleports them to an unknown location within RuneScape.
Now, this can happen at any time. He teleports you to an island in the middle of nowhere and asks you to solve his combination lock. You get 5 tries. If you don't succeed after 5 tries, he hits you over the head with his bottle and teleports you off to some distant land somewhere in RuneScape.
Prior to 25 February, it was only possible to receive this random event while farming. Now players may encounter Cap'n Arnav whilst doing anything.
In addition, this event has become available to free-to-play players as well.
[edit] Trivia
His island is circled by sharks, examining each one will say different things, eg. "Selachimorpha", which is a type of shark.
