Location Lumbridge Crater
Examine A heated spinning bowl that can be used to spin sugar into tasty treats. Gives Cooking XP. (2 tokens)

The candy floss machines were part of the Spring Fayre. One machine could be found in the north-western part of the crater, and another was in the eastern part. Twirling sugar at it during the event allowed players to gain Cooking experience for the cost of two fayre attraction tokens. There was a random chance of receiving a candy floss maul.

At 99 Cooking twirling sugar yielded 642.4 experience and may have awarded 6 fayre prize tickets (706.6 experience and one ticket during a Happy Hour). Tickets were awarded about 75% of the time.

Each twirl took about 10.2 seconds, meaning that during Happy Hour this could be done around 353 times for approximately 265 tickets.

Attempting to twirl sugar without enough fayre attraction tokens prompted the messages:

  • You do not have enough fayre tokens to use this machine. You need 2 tokens.
  • You can get more fayre tokens and tickets from the stall by the Bucking Baroo.

When obtaining the candy floss maul, players received the message:

  • Sweet dreams are made of these! You've unlocked the candy floss maul.

There was a confirmation prompt about gaining experience when starting the twirling that can be toggled off permanently.
