The Candle-maker can be found in his Candle Shop in Catherby. He sells candles for three coins each. During Merlin's Crystal, the player must give a bucket of wax to the candle-maker, and he will make a black candle for the player. Although he considers black candles unlucky, he will continue selling them for three coins each.

The Candle-maker is also involved in the Seers' Village Easy Tasks, and is the third to last task on the list. Players are asked to, "Buy a candle from the Candle-maker."

An interesting thing to note about this shop is that instead of have the option to buy five candles at once, it gives the option to buy four at once. If you were to say out loud " Buy four candle" quickly it might sound like " Buy Fork handle". If you do buy 4 candles from the Candle-maker he will give you a non tradeable item called a "Fork handle".
