The Tablet calculator calculates out the profit (or loss) from creating a Magic tablet on a lectern in a Player-owned house.

Not all lecterns can be used to create tablets, and higher level lecterns may be used to create more tablets. It is possible to use another player's lectern to create tabs, meaning that there is no requirement of having a particular Construction level.

Players get the same experience from making one tablet as they would for casting the spell normally, except for enchantment spells which will give you 75% of the normal experience. Players may find this method of magic training to be slower but in most cases you will make money.

All calculations includes the use of the elemental staff seen in the "Staff" column so that minimal elemental runes need to be supplied, saving money and inventory space.

A player making tablets can make roughly 700 tablets an hour when making them at his/her own house, choosing the "Make All" option, and using a demon butler to fetch 25 pieces of soft clay at a time from the bank. Manually clicking each tablet is faster but requires more attention.

Based on the price of law runes it may be advisable to use the Varrock teleport with runes to fetch the clay and change to soft clay in the parlor, if you have changed the teleport location to the GE.
