A Burning log is an item used in The Firemaker's Curse quest. It is similar to a torch, although unlike the torch will only act as a light source if wielded.

Players need to wield the log in the quest, otherwise the room will become dark which will cause the player damage. It is not possible to run with the log wielded.

It is obtained by picking it out of the fire pit in one of the puzzle rooms after the pit has been lit.
