The Bull roarer is a quest item used during the Legends Quest. It is obtained by giving a complete map of Kharazi Jungle to a forester just outside the Kharazi Jungle. The bull roarer is used to summon a local tribesman named Gujuo from the dense jungle at various points during the quest for advice on how to proceed at each point. When used, the player swings it around his head, making a whirring sound.
Sometimes, if you swing it near an Oomlie bird or a Jungle Savage (Level 90), they will become angry at you for disturbing the jungle's peace, and will attack you. Also, if you swing it not far enough into the jungle, nothing will happen, and a message will come up in your text box saying "You feel slightly ridiculous after a while."
If used in an area other than the Kharazi Jungle, nothing will happen other than the player swinging it. If lost, the bull roarer can be bought back from any of the foresters at the price of an oomlie wrap. Drop trick will work to get multiple bull roarers from foresters if you use radimus notes on forester.
Once Legends Quest is complete you may discard it; however, some choose to keep it as a fun item as it looks like a yo-yo.
