A Bucket of water is an item that players can make by using a bucket on a water source such as a fountain or a sink. A bucket is the only vessel that players can also fill from a well.
Like other vessels filled with water, a bucket of water has everyday uses such as transforming clay into soft clay, turning flour into various kinds of dough, and refilling waterskins. A bucket of water can also be used to fill a watering can.
A bucket of water is used in quests such as Plague City (to soften the soil outside Edmond's house), Clock Tower (to cool the black cog), and Demon Slayer (to push the key into the sewer).
Note that buckets of water used for the 2008 Easter event had different examine text, which read: "It's a bucket of water from the Easter Bunny's warren." Also, if you fill a bucket from the stagnant lake on Braindeath Island then the examine taxt will be: "It's a bucket of... water?"
