Bronze hatchet

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

The Bronze hatchet is the weakest hatchet in RuneScape[1]. It can be wielded for combat, or used to cut trees in Woodcutting. Players can make a bronze hatchet with the Smithing skill at level 1 using one bronze bar, giving the player 12.5 Smithing experience[2]. Players can purchase this hatchet from Bob's Brilliant Axes in Lumbridge.

One respawns on the logs at Seth Groat's farm across the river from Lumbridge.

[edit] Trivia

  • Prior to the update that added the tutor non-playable characters of Lumbridge, the bronze hatchet sold for 16 coins in the general store. After the update, the price of the bronze hatchet when sold to the general store drop to 0 coins. This was done to prevent player from taking advantage of being able to get a free hatchet from the woodsman tutor and then selling the hatchet for money, however players could still sell it to Bob's Brilliant Axes for 9 coins.
  • In Piscatoris Fishing Colony, there is a Bronze Hatchet lying on the ground. What's unique about it is the fact that it's called an "axe", even though they are now called hatchets.
