A Broken axe (iron) was an iron axe that had been broken by an ent random event. Broken iron axes could be fixed at Bob's Brilliant Axes in south Lumbridge for free. This random event was used to prevent botting at that time along with the Tree spirit random event.

The broken axe was removed with the removing of the ent random event effective 25 February 2009. This item no longer exists, as all broken axes have since been automatically repaired.
