Brawling gloves (thieving) (also known as Thieving brawling gloves) are obtained as a very rare drop from Revenants and the Chaos Elemental.
The gloves provide 50% bonus while training on the Thieving skill. In addition, the gloves provide a 300% bonus to experience if players train while in the Wilderness. The gloves only last for a certain amount of uses (around 700), and disintegrates after it expires.
They provide no Attack or Defence bonuses whatsoever.
To get the 300% bonus experience, pickpocket rogues in the Wilderness. If you do, the gloves will last for about 100,000 experience points before disintegrating. More and faster XP can be gained while doing the Pyramid Plunder activity.
To get the maximum experience out of the gloves in terms of most experience per use would be pick-locking the chests in the Rogues' Castle. You will need a Lockpick. There are three chests and you receive 1,200 xp per pick-lock (900 bonus xp). The chests are located up the ladder. You can pick-lock the chest, close it and repeat, so there's no need to hop worlds or change chests. This is extremely slow and failure is really common
