Brawling gloves (thieving) (also known as Thieving brawling gloves) are a reward received from PvP worlds. They are obtained as a random drop from player-killing.
In PvP worlds, the gloves provide 50% bonus while training on the Thieving skill. In addition, the gloves provide 4x experience if players train while in the Wilderness. The gloves only last for a certain amount of uses, and disintegrates after it expires.
They provide no Attack or Defence bonuses whatsoever.
To get the 4x experience, go pickpocket rogues in the Wilderness on a Pvp or Bounty Hunter world. If you do, the gloves will last for about 100,000 experience points before disintegrating.
A better place to use them would be in Pyramid Plunder. Do all the rooms until you get to the highest one you can do, and in this room put on the brawling gloves and loot all the urns.
