Brawling gloves (Thieving) (also known as Thieving brawling gloves) are obtained as a rare drop from Revenants in the Forinthry Dungeon, the Chaos Elemental, as a drop from the Rare drop table or by pickpocketing Ithell workers in Prifddinas.
When wielded, 50% XP boost is given at the entrance or outside of the Wilderness, with the buff increasing to 300% (4x the experience) at level 47 Wilderness just south of the fence. Most XP modifiers stack multiplicatively with the gloves (i.e. Clan avatars gives up to 106% XP and Brawling gloves are 400% XP, for a total 424% XP). The gloves do not work during Double XP weekends or with the Enlightenment aura.
They provide no Attack or Defence bonuses whatsoever.

Place stethoscope and brawling gloves on your action bar. Begin cracking the safe as normal with the brawling gloves in your inventory. Once the 3/4 dial locks are complete, drop your stethoscope using the action bar. Cracking the final lock without a stethoscope gives you time to equip the brawling gloves using your action bar and simultaneously click the safe once you see the flash. Done correctly, this will consume 2 glove charges per safe. Equip a different pair of gloves using the action bar before moving to the next safe.
If you are killed, Black ibis will be kept automatically, and your loot bag and Jennica's ring can both be reclaimed. Valuables found in the safes will be lost, your loot bag can be reclaimed from the safecracking tutor, but your brawling gloves will be kept as long as you are not skulled and not carrying any additional items. |
