Brawling gloves (Cooking) detail

Brawling gloves (Cooking) (also known as Cooking brawling gloves) are obtained as a rare drop from Revenants in the Forinthry Dungeon, the Chaos Elemental, as a drop from the rare drop table or by pickpocketing Ithell workers in Prifddinas.

When wielded, 50% XP boost is given at the entrance or outside of the Wilderness, with the buff increasing to 300% (4x the experience) at level 47 Wilderness just south of the fence. Most XP modifiers stack multiplicatively with the gloves (i.e. Clan avatars gives up to 106% XP and Brawling gloves are 400% XP, for a total 424% XP), but they do not work with events such as Double XP weekends and the Enlightenment aura.

The gloves do not last for a certain period of time, and instead disintegrate after around 1,109 successful cooking actions performed.

They provide no Attack or Defence bonuses.

TrainingEdit

  • Cooking sharks in the Wilderness would result to 924 experience per shark. This would add up to 840k experience per a set of gloves.
  • Cooking rocktail in the Wilderness would result to more than 900 experience per rocktail. This would add up to 900k experience per a set of gloves.
  • Making summer pies in the Wilderness would result to more than 1040 experience per pie. This would add up to 1040k experience per a set of gloves.
  • Before a hidden update, making wine used only one charge per complete inventory, allowing players to obtain a very large amount of experience from one pair of gloves. This has now been fixed and each wine will take one charge.
  • The ideal place to train in the Wilderness is next to the lever that teleports you to the Mage arena cave, as this gives you access to a bank, and allows for a quick teleport if you are attacked.
