Brackish Blade Detail

The brackish blade is a one-handed weapon that requires 60 Attack to wield. It is dropped by 'Rum'-pumped crabs in the Braindeath Island 'Rum'-geon that is unlocked during the quest A Clockwork Syringe.

The weapon, along with the brine sabre, deals more damage and is more accurate against the 'Rum'-pumped crabs, and before the Evolution of Combat, was able to hit even higher than the chaotic rapier. Occasionally while fighting them, a message appears saying "The brackish blade seems super-effective."

TriviaEdit

  • Before the Evolution of Combat, this weapon used to have a special attack.
  • Brackish is a term used to describe water which is a mix of fresh water and salt water.
  • "The brackish blade seems super-effective" may be a reference from the video game series Pokémon.
  • This item lost much in value since the removal of special attack, all the way from ~500k down to ~60k.
  • Even if one cannot reach the monster that drop this weapon without a quest, they may obtain it from the Grand Exchange or another player.
  • Before the Evolution of Combat, the Brackish Blade was nearly identical to the dragon scimitar in stats, other than having slash and stab attributes switched.
