A Bowl is a vessel used primarily in Cooking to hold water, stew, curry, and kebab mix, etc.
Players with level 8 Crafting can make a bowl by using soft clay on a potter's wheel to make an unfired bowl, and then using it on a pottery oven. This requires level 8 Crafting, and earns a total of 33 experience points when made successfully[1]. An unfired bowl is required for the Dragon Slayer quest to retrieve the second map piece.
Creating and firing bowls gives good Crafting experience (Best F2P pottery xp) and is a good way to train Crafting at lower levels.
Bowl spawn points include the kitchen in Lumbridge Castle and south-west of the Sorcerer's Tower (just north of the Farming patch).
Players can use a bowl on a water source to turn it into a bowl of water. Using this on a range or a fire will create a bowl of hot water.
