|Examine||A basic staff for basic uses. All in all, pretty basic. (Tier 6)|
A Bovistrangler staff can only be found in Daemonheim and has no requirements to wield. At complexity level 3+ and level 58 Fletching, the staff can be made by using a knife on Bovistrangler branches, giving 81xp.
Prior to the Evolution of Combat update, this staff could be imbued on a runecrafting altar to become any magical staff up to the Empowered water staff (60 Runecrafting). Currently, elemental staves in dungeoneering are still available from the starting room but cannot be made. As the higher levelled empowered catalytic staff requires gravecreeper branches to make, crafting catalytic staves is the only use of Bovistrangler staves. However, the lower level spinebeam branches could do the same.
