A player casting the Bones to Peaches spell.

Bones to Peaches now turns all bones up to and including big bones in a player's inventory into peaches, which can be used to heal the player for 8 Hitpoints. It does not work on bones that give more experience than big bones, such as zogre bones or dragon bones. This was introduced with the 17 November 2009 update.

Before a player can cast the spell, it must be purchased from the Mage Training Arena for 200 telekinetic pizazz points, 300 alchemist pizazz points, 2,000 enchantment pizazz points and 200 graveyard pizazz points. To find out how close you are to buying bones to peaches as a percentage, use this formula: (telepizazz points/200+alchpizazz points/300+enchant pizazz points/2000+gravepizazz points/200)*25. Players, however, do not need to purchase the spell to use its tablet form. (Because of both this and the difficulty in accumulating pizazz points, many players prefer to spend their points on Infinity robes which can be sold for a good return.)

The main use of this spell is as a ready food source while fighting without the need to go bank. The spell is most commonly used in areas where bones are plentiful, but Guthan's cannot be used, such as in the Smoke dungeon. To maximise use, it is best to wait until all food is gone and there is no more room for bones in ones inventory. If there are multiple bones on the ground, one should then wait until one has taken 16 damage, drop 2 items, pick up 2 bones, cast the spell or break the tablet, eat 2 peaches and then pick up the items again. If there are enough bones you can also do this with 3 or 4 items.

Bones to Peaches costs 850 coins for each cast, 734 coins if an earth rune supplying staff is wielded, 690 coins if a water rune supplying staff is wielded and 574 coins if a Mud staff is wielded.

Remember, You cannot use Ancient Magicks or Lunar Magicks if you are using regular Magic.

[edit] Tablets

A player using a Bones to Peaches tab.

Bones to peaches tablets are items that can be used by any player to change normal bones into peaches. A lot of people use these tabs instead of buying the runes because, they take up less inventory space, and it saves a trip to the Mage Training Arena to buy the spell.

Players can create these only on a Mahogany demon lectern as long as they have 2 nature runes, 4 earth runes, 4 water runes, and 1 soft clay, and at least level 60 Magic. Elemental staves can be also used to make tablets. So using a mud staff, earth staff, or water staff can make this more cost-effective. The spell is transferred to a piece of soft clay at a lectern in the Study of a Player-owned house, creating a magic tablet. The experience for casting the spell is gained at the time the tablet is created. Like all tablets, the default option is to 'Break' this tablet, which casts the spell, but does not give any experience.

As with all player-made magic tablets, this tablet can be made regardless of the player's current spell book. However, it requires the player to have first purchased the spell from the Mage Training Arena.

As of 18 August 2009, there is now a "Make X" option for all spell tablets. however, you may still make them separately if you wish.
