Blurite bolts are the second-weakest bolts, stronger than bronze bolts. Blurite bolts may be shot from blurite or better crossbows.

Blurite bolts may be created by players. First, a player must smith unfinished blurite bolts. This requires a Smithing level of 8, and for each blurite bar that player smiths they will get 10 unfinished blurite bolts and 17 Smithing experience. Then a player must attach flights to the bolts. Attaching flights to each bolt requires a Fletching level of 24 and 1 feather, granting 1 Fletching experience per bolt.

Blurite bolts may be tipped with Jade. A player must first have a Fletching level of 26 and take a cut Jade and use a chisel with it to make 12 Jade bolt tips, granting 2 Fletching experience. Attaching jade bolt tips also requires a Fletching level of 26, and for each jade bolt tip attached to a blurite bolt, a player is granted 2.4 Fletching experience. Once the jade bolt tips have been attached, the blurite bolts become jade bolts. Jade bolts can be enchanted, and more information about enchanting them is available under jade bolts.

• These bolts are not commonly used, due to the fact that Blurite ore can only be mined in the Mudskipper Point dungeon, which has semi-high level Ice Warriors and Ice Giants, and is very remote from any form of bank or furnace.
