Blue partyhat

From the RuneScape Wiki, the wiki for all things RuneScape

(Redirected from Blue Party Hat)

Blue partyhats are discontinued holiday items that players obtained by opening Christmas crackers that were dropped as part of the 2001 Christmas event. It is the most expensive party hat, at around 350 million coins, and one of the most expensive items in RuneScape; the only more expensive items being another holiday item, the Christmas cracker itself, and the Elysian and Divine Spirit shields and their corresponding Sigils.

The blue partyhat plays a small but intriguing part of the Wise Old Man storyline. According to Draynor Bank's surveillance tapes, the wise old man killed Elfinlocks and stole the blue partyhat from her dead body while he was robbing the bank. He now wears it on his head.

Spelling - partyhat or party hat

Each of the six coloured party hats is a single word "partyhat" as that is how they are spelled in-game; for example, "blue partyhat". However, for party hats in general, it is two words with a space between "party" and "hat," because that is how it is spelled when non-player characters talk about them.

Trivia

The blue partyhat is currently the 6th most expensive item in RuneScape. It is beaten by the Elysian spirit shield, the Elysian sigil, the Divine spirit shield, Divine sigil, and the Christmas cracker.

During the Swan Song quest, the player will ask the Wise Old Man for the blue partyhat at the end of the quest as a reward; however, he refuses.
