Bloodveld are assigned as a Slayer task by Vannaka, Chaeldar, Sumona, Duradel/Lapalok and Kuradal. They are very weak to almost any type of combat (like demons) but are weakest against fire spells. They have a high amount of life points but deal very low damage in return. As they use melee attacks, using magic equipment will be an advantage. Mutated bloodvelds take up 4 spaces, so most mid to high-level players won't need to bring food as there are many spaces to safe spot them from with magic or ranged. Also, they drop meat pizzas if you do need to replenish some life points once in awhile.
Bloodveld will use melee, so they can be easily killed with an aggression potion and cannon. The bloodveld found in the Meiyerditch Dungeon is also around mutated bloodveld. They have a high drop rate of green charms and blood runes.

Strategies[]
Magic[]
Bloodveld are weak to Magic, and can be quickly and efficiently slain with a polypore staff. The Greater runic staff is also very effective, as it can be charged with runes for spells, allowing players to exploit their weakness to fire spells without wasting any inventory space. The Mutated bloodvelds in Meiyerditch Laboratories are very easy to safe spot as there are many items in the room that they cannot move around.
