The Black platelegs (t) is a possible reward from Level 1 Treasure Trails. Just like any other trimmed item, it cannot be made through the Smithing or Crafting skill. It has the same stats of a Black platelegs or a Black plateskirt

The “free trimming” scam associated with these type of armours has been made obsolete due to an trade update by Jagex.

It requires 10 defence to equip. Players buy it for its unique design. People who buy this are rich and have low Defence, or they just wear it to show wealth.
