Black bolts detail
Black bolts are bolts that can only be acquired by completing a level 1 Treasure trail or by trading with another player. They can only be fired from a black crossbow or better.

Damage-wise, it is classed as level 33 equipment, making black bolts better than mithril bolts, which is unusual for black equipment. It is unknown whether this is a glitch or intentional.

Please note, black crossbow bolts are not able to harm the Tormented Wraith, even when being used in conjunction with a black crossbow, the reason for this is still unknown, although it is most likely a glitch.

Ava's Accumulator won't pick up these bolts, however it picks up all other kind of bolts, the reason for this is unknown. It may possibly be because Black armour and weapons are not considered to be a true metal.

Unlike the other metal bolts, Black bolts cannot be tipped with a gem of any kind.

As with all black equipment, this item cannot be made from raw materials using the Smithing skill.
