Black bears can be found in forests in RuneScape including south east of the Varrock mining area, west of The Dig Site. They can also be found between the Goblin Village and the dwarf encampment (below the mind altar ruins) or the lower-levelled Wilderness. They are also located on Entrana.

Their fur can be sold to a fur trader (located in Varrock, Ardougne, and Rellekka). The meat can be cooked by itself or used as an ingredient in wild pie.

They can be killed for bear assignments.

TriviaEdit

• Although black bears have black fur, the fur they drop when killed is brown.
• They are featured in the Armies of Gielinor Zamorak Campaign. They are seen as Seren followers.
• There was a glitch where the black bears in Varrock look like they glide around and have no fighting or death animation.
