The Black Ibis outfit is a reward that can be obtained during the Pyramid Plunder minigame. It provides a multiplier to your Thieving experience up to a maximum of 700 experience per action when worn. The full set gives a 2.5% bonus. This boost can stack with other thieving experience boosts. This boost does not apply to experience gained within Pyramid Plunder .

Searching the urns or the sarcophagus within Pyramid Plunder will give you a chance of finding a piece of the black ibis set. If you have a sceptre of the gods equipped, this chance increases. Unlike the sceptre drop, you are not expelled from the pyramid when you find a piece of the outfit. Instead, a dialogue box will pop up notifying you of what you found. If your inventory is full, it will drop on the ground beneath you.

The complete set may be placed in the Armour case in the Costume room of a player-owned house.

Trivia

• Though no xp is gained whilst wearing the Ibis outfit at Pyramid Plunder, opening the doors to enter the pyramid will receive a multiplied experience based on the items of the suit you are wearing.
• Chances of obtaining the Black Ibis outfit was much rarer before August 14, 2012, until an update increased the chances of obtaining it. ^[1]
