The Big Snake is a large snake encountered in the Freeing King Awowogei subquest of Recipe for Disaster. It uses a slow but strong and poisonous melee attack. Its approximate max hit is 140 and has 2,300 life points.

Habitat

Five Big Snakes spawn in a cave on Crash Island. They are aggressive, so it's recommended to use Protect from Melee prayer. If you are too close to the walls, the snakes popping in and out of holes can hurt you as well. Its guaranteed drop, the snake corpse, is cooked during Recipe for Disaster. They also drop the giant snake spine needed for the wishlist of the Fur 'n' Seek quest. However, its poison only does 10 life points in damage.

If for some reason you kill all the snakes and they don't respawn, just exit via the rope and come back in. This resets the snakes' summons, so if you were killing a snake and accidentally left, its life points restore to normal and you must start anew. Some of the glitches were fixed but not all of them.
