Berserker shields are a reward for the Fist of Guthix minigame. Berserker shields, like all other Fist of Guthix rewards, degrade in a similar fashion to Barrows equipment. They come in 2 metals: adamant and runite. Berserker shields, along with Spikeshields, are the only shields in Free-to-play which offer strength bonuses. Berserker shields give slightly better defensive bonuses than Kiteshields of the same metal. Berserker shields are repaired by paying Reggie a small amount of Fist of Guthix tokens.

Level 35 Defence is required to wield an Adamant berserker shield, and level 45 Defence to wield a Rune berserker shield.
