Bear ribs are a quest item dropped by Bears during the Rag and Bone Man quest. The ribs must be cleaned by adding it to a pot of vinegar and then boiled in the pot-boiler by the Odd Old Man's house north east of Varrock. Once cleaned, the bone can be given to the old man. They can only be received as a drop during the quest, and have no uses outside of it.
