Karil's set is Karil the Tainted's set of Ranging armour and crossbow from the Barrows minigame. The whole set requires 70 Ranging and 70 Defence to wield. Set includes:

• Karil's coif
• Karil's crossbow
• Karil's leatherskirt
• Karil's leathertop

As like all other Barrows armour sets, this one has a special effect. If the attack is successful, it will lower the player's agility level by what was hit. This has been a long-going issue for Karil's as well as Torag's set owners wanting a better set effect compared to the other brothers. Another issue that annoyed many rangers is that full black dragonhide with a blessed coif had better defence stats than Karil's armour.

The crossbow, unlike all other crossbows, is two handed and requires a special type of bolt called a Bolt racks. Bolt racks can be obtained by opening chests in the Barrows minigame, buying from Ak-Haranu on the Port Phasmatys docks for 420 coins each, trading with another player, or purchasing through the Grand Exchange.Karil's has been used in pvp to stop players from escaping, such as:using stepping stones to get away so that when karils effect works the player will fall and deal damage.
