The Barrel bomb is created when putting a pot of quicklime and ground sulphur on a barrel during the Regicide quest. Then a strip of cloth needs to be added. The bomb is then to be shot at King Tyras, killing him in a fiery inferno.

The barrel bomb can be comparable to the exploding kegs in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, which are similarly hurled at enemies.
