The Bandos Scrimshaw was released with the PvP and Bounty world updates on 16 June 2009. This item is available as a drop from PvP and Bounty Hunter, replacing certain items that were removed from the drop lists, such as the Abyssal whip, Dragon full helm, and the Dragonfire Shield. Players may sell this artefact to Mandrith in the Edgeville bank in Bounty Hunter worlds, or Nastroth in Lumbridge in PvP worlds, for 50,000 coins. This is the most valuable artefact players can receive as a drop in free play Bounty Hunter and PvP worlds.
[edit] Trivia
The Bandos scrimshaw used to be called the Bandos icon until the update by Jagex on 28 July.
