The Bandos hilt is dropped by General Graardor, in the God Wars Dungeon. When attached to a completed Godsword blade, it creates the Bandos Godsword which enables the player to use the special attack Warstrike, which does 10% extra damage and lowers the opponent's combat statistics by what it hits. This drains the special attack bar by 100%. This can be devastating to a strength pure with low defence, lowering their attack and strength greatly thus making the pure useless. However it can still miss, so players will have to wait for the special attack bar to recharge again.
- The hilt is what makes up 95% or more of the Godsword's cost, for the Godsword blade which it attaches to costs less than 500k.

- When a player uses the special attack, they will raise the blade with only one hand. This is unusual, due to the fact a Godsword is a two-handed sword.
- A drop of a hilt is around 1/150 kills + luck
