Balfrug Kreeyath is one of K'ril Tsutsaroth's bodyguards, along with Zakl'n Gritch and Tstanon Karlak. He attacks with Magic by launching huge fireballs at the player. Judging from his examine description, the demon destroyed the desert city of Ullek during the God Wars.
Balfrug Kreeyath also counts as a Black Demon while on a Slayer Task. As a demon, he is weak to the power of Silverlight and Darklight.
The Knowledge Base gives this description: "As his moniker suggests, this black beast is as unmerciful as he is frightening to behold. Balfrug will need no reason to attack you, so you had better be prepared to defend yourself during every second that this foul monster breathes. This is an enemy worthy of fear and respect."

[edit] Trivia
- Balfrug's name is similar to the Balrog, a huge demon in The Lord of the Rings.
- Balfrug's title, "The Despoiler of Ullek", was in the game long before any other information about Ullek was revealed. Until the release of the Dealing with Scabaras quest, nothing about Ullek was known.
- He may be based off Dante's Satan, as both is being portrayed with three faces and devilish looks.
- Interestingly enough, Balfrug has a lower combat level than normal black demons despite the fact that he possesses more hitpoints and a higher max hit.
