The Bag of runes is an item used in the Learning the Ropes quest. It is a bag full of runes that must be given to Sir Vant so he can cast spells to weaken the dragon, thus you can't see the runes. It can be received from Mikasi, the Magic Tutor in Lumbridge. The bag of runes looks like a giant pouch. This item is now discontinued as a new tutorial is being made, and all new players now go to Tutorial Island.
