An Asgoldian ale (formerly Asgarnian ale (g)[1]) is a quest item that players make as part of Recipe for Disaster.
Although it looks like a drink, it is not fit for human consumption. If players attempt to drink it, they will receive the message: "I don't think I'd like gold in beer thanks. Leave it for the dwarves." Specifically, players should give it to Rohak, a dwarf.
Players make this item by adding a coin to an Asgarnian ale. He will require four of them in a row before he relinquishes the secret recipe for dwarven rock cakes in order to rescue his son.
