Asgarnian ale is brewed from Asgarnian hops. It heals one hitpoint and temporarily increases Strength by 2 at the cost of 4 Attack.
This drink also plays a role in Construction. Players can make Asgarnian Ale Barrels at level 18 construction. You must have 8 Asgarnian Ales and 3 Oak Planks in inventory to make.
It can also be bought from the bars in Falador and Burthorpe for a cost of 3 coins. One spawns in the Toad and Chicken Inn in Burthope.
Asgarnian ale plays a role in the Dwarf sub-quest of Recipe for Disaster. A coin must be inserted into an ale, to produce an Asgoldian ale.
This drink also plays a role in the Death Plateau quest where you must supply the beverage to Harold in order to discover the combination to the Burthorpe castle equipment storage room.
