The Asgarnian Ice Dungeon mine is a mine located at the end of the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon. It can only be accessed by going down the ladder on Thurgo's Peninsula and making your way through to the end of the dungeon. The mine is the only place in RuneScape where it is possible to obtain Blurite ore, though there are not any nearby banks or furnaces so it is hard to mine blurite ore in bulk. If you are a low level you may want to be careful because there are ice warriors and ice giants surrounding the mine that can deal high damage if you do not bring good armour.
The Asgarnian Ice Dungeon mine is visited during The Knight's Sword and Defender of Varrock quests since blurite ore is needed to complete both quests. Members may also mine the blurite in the mine as to create Blurite crossbows, though this is not common due to the obscure location of the mine and the low power of the crossbows.
The mine is rarely visited for the blurite outside of the quests as blurite has little uses, gives comparatively poor mining and smithing experience and is untradeable. The most common reason for people in the mine is not for the blurite but rather the ice warriors and giants, which are quite common slayer tasks.
