The Armies of Gielinor Story Competition was released on 8 March 2010[1]. The competition objective was to write 400-word or less story related to the campaign storylines from Jagex's Armies of Gielinor turn-based game, or more broadly a story from the God Wars (one that is somehow related to the struggles of Zamorak or Saradomin)[1].

Competition informationEdit

At the time, the two single-player campaigns in Armies of Gielinor were "Zamorak Returns" and "Saradomin Strikes". To enter the competition, players would write their story, send it in to Jagex studios via email, and wait to see if their story is one of the winners. The prize draw currently has not been posted on the RuneScape home page, but the deadline for submitting stories was on 29 March 2010.

Prize winnersEdit

The winners have received a lifetime membership of both RuneScape and FunOrb, along with some exclusive signed artwork of the campaign they have written about. The winners and runners up for the Zamorakian story competition are celticqueen8 and Dimitrix. The winners of the Saradomin story competition are lunestruck and roleutrio.
