Armadyl armour is a set of armour consisting of the Armadyl helmet, the Armadyl chestplate, the Armadyl chainskirt, the Armadyl gloves, the Armadyl boots, the Armadyl buckler and the Armadyl crossbow. It is dropped by General Kree'arra and his 3 minions, (Wingman Skree, Flockleader Geerin, and Flight Kilisa) in the God Wars Dungeon. The helmet, chestplate and chainskirt require 70 defence to equip, the crossbow requires 70 ranged, while the gloves, boots and buckler require both 70 defence and 70 ranged.
Originally, the set did not include vambraces or boots. However, with the God Wars update released on 5 September 2012, the set has received a piece in every item slot, including an Armadyl buckler.
Armadyl armour offers some of the best magic defence, alongside Karil's, which is a cheaper option when only magic defence is required. Despite having lower life point and defensive bonuses than Barrows equipment, this armour is considered a "Power armour" as of April 30th, 2013 and gives a 10% damage boost to ranged attacks. In addition, its prayer bonus was removed due to a change in prayer bonus mechanics.
This armour is considered to be the ranged version of the Bandos armour and Robes of subjugation, which are also earned in the God Wars Dungeon.
