Antifire

A detailed view of an Antifire potion
An Antifire potion provides slight immunity to a dragon's breath. However, when used in conjunction with an anti-dragon shield it will provide complete immunity against dragonfire for exactly 6 minutes. It can be made by a player with 69 Herblore by mixing clean lantadyme and dragon scale dust in a vial of water, which grants 157.5 Herblore experience. Players will get a warning in their chatbox when the potion is about to wear off, then they will get another message when it has worn off, with approximately a 15-second interval between the two. Antifire potions are also useful especially against metal dragons and the King Black Dragon, though only when combined with an anti-dragon shield.

WARNING! Players should remember that an antifire potion alone will not fully protect them from dragonfire (players will get a message in their text box stating that they have been horribly burnt by the fire). Only combined with the anti-dragon shield will players be completely immune to dragonfire (for 6 minutes).

Note: Antifire potions are sometimes very hard to buy on the Grand Exchange even at maximum price.

Although it is thought by many players , there has been no proof that antifire potions help against the dragonstone (e) bolt affect as of yet.

[edit] Production costs

The data in this table is based on the Grand Exchange prices of the vial of water, herb, and secondary ingredient(s). It is accurate, assuming all three items are bought off the Grand Exchange and the resulting potion is sold afterwards.
