Annihilation (Crucible) detail

Annihilation was a weapon used in the Crucible. It was obtained by killing a Supreme Champion or being the champion yourself. This is the melee version of the three Supreme weapons, the magic version being Obliteration and Decimation for ranged. Annihilation was discontinued when the Crucible was replaced with Deathmatch on 26 September 2016, though a new version was introduced with the re-release of Bounty Hunter on 14 November 2016.

Clicking the Gravitate option will teleport other players closer to you. This ability can only be used every six seconds.

Annihilation, along with Decimation and Obliteration, is dropped by Ded Meet when killed during the tutorial, The Supreme Champion. It is also the only Supreme Champion weapon he used out of the three. Although the player is instructed to pick up the three weapons, they could not and the tutorial ends without a chance to use them. However the player is able to use them in the next tutorial, Supreme Weapons.

As with Decimation and Obliteration, they can be keepsaked. Players with this version keepsaked kept it when the new version was introduced.

Trivia

Annihiliation special

Supreme Ded Meet using the former special attack

  • The tutorial refers to a multi-target special attack Stagger, which will damage up to twelve people nearby by 40% of their base life points, and will also cause damaged players to randomly disengage from combat and follow other players. Although special attacks were reinstated after their removal, this weapon did not have its special attack reinstated, although the tutorial still refers to it.
