The Ancient Warriors were four powerful combatants who lived during the Third Age and who have fought in the God Wars. Zuriel, the mage among the warriors, used the Ancient Magicks, and some assume that he was Zarosian; however, some Zamorakians also have access to these magics so his religion can't be deduced. The four Ancient Warriors were:

The Ancient Warriors used equipment that is now known as Ancient Warriors' equipment, which was released on 15 October 2008, along with PvP Worlds. Their equipment can be obtained as very rare drops from both Revenants and the Chaos Elemental, or obtained by trading with players who have it individually or through the Grand Exchange.
The Ancient Warriors' armour sets are currently the third most powerful armour sets in the game. However, as more powerful equipment has entered the game, the Ancient Warriors' equipment has gradually fallen out of favour by most players, as they are too expensive to maintain due to their 1 hour/20 minutes (normal/corrupt versions) duration which makes it unfeasible for general combat. Despite this, various changes to the equipment make it a bit more feasible. Their gear is slightly better and cheaper than using Nex armour in the Wilderness, and Statius's warhammer has seen a large amount of activity following the patch of the Quake bug in high level fights such as Yakamaru.
