An Amulet of defence is an enchanted amulet that provides a relatively low defence bonus. Some players think that the bonus it does provide is high considering the relative ease in making it. Amulets of defence are created by casting Enchant Level 2 Jewellery on emerald amulets. You will need level 27 Magic, and it requires one cosmic rune and three air runes per cast. These are common PvP drops for low to mid level players.
Davon's Amulet Store in Brimhaven will buy and sell Amulets of defence, offering higher prices than the Grand Exchange. When the Grand Exchange price is 719 coins, he will offer 956 coins each if he has none in stock. He used to buy your Amulet of defence for 1,083 coins if you were wearing Karamja gloves 1 or better, but this was rendered obsolete with the Personalised Shops update.
