Ammonium nitrate is a members-only quest item. It is used in the Digsite quest along with nitroglycerin, ground charcoal, and arcenia root to make a chemical compound. It is obtained by using the chest key (Digsite) to open the chest near the panning point, and is brought to the archaeology expert, who identifies it as ammonium nitrate.
Before the archaeology expert identifies it, ammonium nitrate is known as chemical powder.
