The Alchemy Guide provides players with help on high and low alchemy spells and which items are profitable or good for experience. Please remember that the RuneScape economy is always changing, which means some information in this article may be slightly inaccurate or outdated.

Note: The profit scale reflects the high level alchemy spell only. Low level alchemy is generally not used for turning profit.

***** A downright horrible choice to alchemy, simply because the item's value/rarity is worth far more than the coins returned from casting HLA.

***** The cost of the item and nature runes needed to alch far surpass that of the alching price, meaning players makes a negative amount of money.

***** The cost of the raw materials to create the item or the item itself plus the nature runes needed to alch slightly surpass that of the alch price, thus making these item unprofitable.

***** These items are good for gaining Magic experience as the final loss from the item is very close to zero.

***** Alching these items will turn a small profit, but they are hard to buy on the Grand Exchange

***** Alching these items will turn a small profit, and are usually easy to buy on the Grand Exchange. Highly recommended!
