The alchemiser is a machine that can be built in the Invention Guild basement at level 72 Invention. It automatically casts High Level Alchemy on the items put into it, even while the player is offline.
Every hour, on the hour, the alchemiser will process up to 8 items deposited in it, consuming up to 45 machine charge as well as 5 fire runes and 1 nature rune. Building it requires 20 of the power allotment supplied by the generator. It can hold up to 1,500 items over the three input slots. Researching the alchemiser blueprint awards 56,862 Invention experience.
Once the alchemiser has processed some items, the resulting coins may be withdrawn via the machine management interface.
At level 108 Invention, the alchemiser can be upgraded to the alchemiser mk. II.

The alchemiser processes 8 items per hour at a cost of 45 machine charge. Thus, each item costs 5.6 machine charge to process - an equivalent of 140.1 coins per item. The alchemiser also requires a nature rune and 5 fire runes for each item, increasing the cost to 1,030.1 coins per item. This is an additional cost of 565.1 coins per item compared to normally casting High Level Alchemy with a fire staff.
The alchemiser processes 192 items per day at a cost of 1,080 machine charge (approximately 0.36 divine charges). When completely filled, it will take 7 days 20 hours to disassemble the 1,500 input items, using 8,460 machine charges (approximately 2.82 divine charges).
The alchemiser mk. II is significantly cheaper to run than the mk. I, as the mk. II does not require fire runes (and is of a similar machine charge cost) - each item costs 614.4 coins to alchemise in a mk. II.
