The Air wizard is a monster that wanders around the meadow outside Rimmington. Low-level Melee based players will find these monster especially challenging since they also cast weaken. Low level players are often scammed by high level players saying something along the lines of, "Kill the wizard, it's only level 13!" then the high level player kills the wizard to make it seem like the wizard is weak. The low level player will think he/she can kill it easily and die before they can even run away.
Each of the four wizards (Fire wizard, Earth wizard, Water wizard, and Air wizard) are immune to magic attacks using their own element and will heal if attacked with their own element, saying Gratias tibi ago. They will cast Wind Strike and will heal themselves whenever a wind based attack (wind strike, bolt, etc) is attempted on them.

[edit] Trivia
- Interestingly, just like the other three wizards, the Air wizard does not drop bones, but instead ashes as a 100% drop. This is strange given their human-like appearance.
- Air wizards die the same way as the player in the Draynor Bank Robbery video, turning into a skeleton and then falling to the ground.
- Healing one of the elemental wizards (air wizard, earth wizard, water wizard, or fire wizard) by attempting an attack spell of the matching type is a requirement for the Falador Diary.
